St. Leonards Shoreditch Church
にて行われます。

では無く、Popol Vuhの曲を聞き
関係者達でPopol Vuhを語ると、、
'A celebration of Popol Vuh' is an event honouring the 40th anniversary of the group's formation. The concept of the events is to listen to the recorded albums in an appropriate space and setting, suitable to the deeply introspective music of Popol Vuh. They will be held at St. Leonards Shoreditch Church in Shoreditch, London and 2 selected albums from their catalogue will be played on a sound system brought in at each event. Selected dates are to include special guest speakers, experts / people connected to Popol Vuh (TBC).
The church will be low-lit by candle light, the concept is to put the listener in an environment where the music can score an inner landscape in people’s heads, an inward experience rather than a sensory bombardment.
The first event is on 25th February, 2 early ‘moog period’ Popol Vuh albums ‘Affenstunde’ and ‘In Den Garten Pharaos’ will be played, separated by an interval.
7pm start, £5 entry, Alcoholic beverages available.
